Filling Gaps Between Teeth
Case 1:

Before - This patient did not like the gap between her two front teeth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI bonded tooth colored dental material to these two teeth to close the gap and create a more desirable appearance for this patient.
5+ Years Later - This photo is 5 and a half years after the procedure. Still looking good!
Case 2:

Before - This young patient did not like the space between her two front teeth and did not want to have orthodontic treatment/braces to correct.
After - This photo was taken immediately after treatment. Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, Michigan bonded, contoured, and polished tooth colored dental restorative material to her two front teeth to close the gap. This was done in one appointment, painlessly, and without anesthesia.
Case 3:

Before - This patient didn’t like the space between her two front teeth or the odd shape of the tooth you see on the left.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI placed a porcelain crown on the tooth on the right, and he bonded composite resin to the tooth on the left to close the gap and create ideal shapes.

During - With braces, an orthodontist straightened her teeth.

Case 10:

Case 11:

Before - This patient did not like her smile. Crooked teeth, gaps, and uneven appearance. Ideally, she should have a combination of orthodontics (to put the teeth in the correct positions) and porcelain veneers of crowns. She could not afford this treatment.
After - As a compromise, Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI bonded tooth colored composite resin to her teeth to reshape them. Although not ideal. it is a huge improvement. This was done comfortably without anesthesia in one appointment.

Veneers
Case 1:

Before - Narrow teeth with spaces between them.

and esthetics.

Case 2:

Before - This patient bleached her teeth to whiten them, but didn’t like the appearance of her front tooth that is dark and poorly shaped with an old filling covering the entire front of her tooth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed all of the old restorative material and bonded new material that is lighter in shade and shaped it better. This is a composite resin veneer done by hand, chairside.

Enamel Reshaping
Case 1:

Before - This patient didn’t like the shapes of his two front teeth. They were ‘bumpy’ and uneven.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI simply re-contoured these two front teeth to straighten them and blend them better with the rest of his teeth. This was done comfortably without anesthesia.
Case 2:

Before - This patient presented to Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI with chipped and worn two front teeth.
After - Dr. Hosner reshaped and polished the edges to create better esthetics.
Case 3:

Before - This patient chipped his front tooth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage MI reshaped the edges of his two front teeth without anesthetic to create a more attractive appearance. The patient experienced no sensitivity.

Superficial Tooth Stain Removal
Case 1:

Before - Brown stains are on this patient’s front tooth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed the stains comfortably without cutting the tooth.
Case 2:

Before - Staining and decay on these teeth bothered the patient.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed all decay and staining and bonded tooth colored restorative material to recreate a beautiful and natural appearance.
Case 3:

Before - This patient did not like the white opaque stains on her two front teeth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI cut the stains away and bonded tooth colored dental material to the teeth and polished them to blend seamlessly and unnoticeably.
Case 4:

Before - This patient doesn’t like the dark stains on his teeth that he has had most of his life.
After - This picture was taken over two weeks after Dr. Jack Hosner removed the stains with a weak acid polishing paste. Notice the improvement. The acid continues to remove stain for up to two weeks after the initial treatment.

Before - This patient didn’t like the brown and white spots on his teeth.
After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed the stains in a few minutes comfortably without anesthetic.

After - After one short in-office treatment, Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed most of the stains. A second treatment may remove the remaining stains, or composite bonding may need to be done; however, this patient was happy without any further treatment.

After - Dr. Jack Hosner of Portage, MI removed the old fillings and stains. New composite resin fillings were bonded and polished to provide a more acceptable appearance.

Tooth Whitening
Case 1:

After - The teeth are much whiter after the patient bleached her teeth at home using custom fitting bleach trays and strong bleaching gel she received at Dr. Hosner’s office.

After - After months of dental at-home bleaching, you can see the amazing results. These teeth may continue to lighten up with further bleaching.

After - After root canal therapy by Dr. Jack Hosner to clean out the damaged tissue within the tooth, Dr. Hosner internally and externally bleached the tooth to closely match the other teeth. The patient was satisfied.
